Class Description:
Gain peace of mind with our Parent Infant CPR training, designed specifically for parents and family members who babysit. This course is all in-person, ensuring you have the practical confidence needed for everyday emergencies.
Our calming environment enables you to absorb key techniques without feeling overwhelmed. With hands-on readiness, you'll learn how to act effectively in real-life situations, ensuring you and your loved ones are always safe.
These classes are fairly small (just 4-5 people) for parents and/or grandparents. We will go over the use of an AED, infant CPR and choking prevention techniques.
You may have up to 7 people in the class, just call and I can change the number of people that can sign up if you want to invite more family members.
What to Expect: We will do the hands on practice with the AED trainer on the adult manikin and the CPR practice on the infant manikins. Practices are done on the floor unless you have a medical reason to do it on the table.
Please allow 1 hour and 15 mins for this class, it can be longer or shorter depending on discussions.
There is no certification for this class, it is intended to be an informational training session only with hands on practice for parents who want to learn the infant CPR & choking information and not take a full class.
I may have some class times listed on the website, these classes will be for 3-5 people, but sessions are available at other times, please call to make an appointment, times are flexible.
This is a great resource for those parents using the Baby-led weaning program.
Cost is $50.00 per person, there is a min of 2 people to schedule a private class. If you do not want to sign up and pay online, you can call and register for the class and pay cash at the door.
If you do not have a babysitter for your infant, you may schedule a private class and bring them with you. (This is limited to one infant only, per couple.) There is no extra charge for this, however, you must have two people coming to the class, this is designed for parents who want to come together, but cannot get a sitter for their infant.
Where: The class will be held in Colorado Springs at Springs CPR Training, 5525 Erindale Dr. #125, close to Vickers & Academy. (80918) The door to my office is on the north end of the building on the lower level. The name of the building is Pointe West Executives Suites.
